But if you would like to participate in the TreeTops Adventure Course, Mountain Segways or the Soaring Camel 4000' Twin Zip-Flyers, a reservation is strongly suggested.

Absolutely. We love groups at Camelback Mountain Adventures. Our park is perfect for family reunions and team building. We offer a discount on our TreeTops Adventure Course for groups of 20 or more people. Discounts on the Mountain Coaster and 1000’ Dual Zip Lines are reserved for very large groups of 100 or more people. Getting Ready For Your Ropes Course

At the maximum, groups of 25 start the ropes course together. Depending on comfort level and speed, each guest will move through the ropes course at different paces. On average, guests complete the Full TreeTops Adventure Course in 3.5 to 4.5 hours.

There is no minimum number required to schedule a TreeTops Adventure Course reservation. We will try to schedule you with other adventurers, but if you are the only one scheduled, we will run the ropes course just for you.

Weekends are the busiest time at Camelback Mountain Adventures, so it’s best to call a week or two ahead. However, there are times when we can squeeze you in the ropes course the same day.

Dress for the outdoors, wear closed-toed shoes and be sure to dress appropriately for the weather of the day. For safety reasons, we recommend that you wear hiking boots or sneakers and clothing you don’t mind getting dirty. We also strongly recommend that you do not wear any jewelry and long hair must be tied back. Our staff will determine if your clothes are adequate and if they feel your clothing may cause unsafe conditions, you may be refused entry onto the ropes course.

Camelback Mountain Adventures will operate in the rain, but we may suspend operations during the day of your visit if there is lightning in the general area. If we have lightning within a 20 mile radius, the park goes on “lightning hold.” We will allow guests to continue to the end of the ropes course they are currently on, but we do not allow anyone on the ground to begin another TreeTops Adventure Course. In the event of lighting within a 15 mile radius of the park, we clear all courses immediately. Guests that are within an aerial obstacle or two of the end of a ropes course will go to the end of that course and hold. Guests that are within an aerial obstacle at the beginning of a course must backtrack and leave the course. Guests in the middle of a ropes course will be lowered to the ground by the guide staff. All guests will then clear the woods and wait out the storm in the Camelback Mountain Adventure Lodge. If we cannot resume operations within 90 minutes, guests will be issued a return voucher. This voucher is valid the entire season. We do not extend refunds once guests have started the ropes course.
