Thank you for purchasing tickets to Kartrite's Kurse Haunted House at Camelback Resort. Please read the information below that will help you plan your visit.
Directions and Parking - Kartrite's Kurse is located inside the Glen Lodge at the base of Camelback Mountain. When in the vicinity of Camelback, follow signs to Camelback Mountain Adventures and park adjacent to the CBK Lodge. Visit the Directions and Parking page for more information and to view a map of the Camelback area.
Activity Release - All guests experiencing Kartrite's Kurse or a mountain adventure activity must sign an Activity Release form. The check-in process will be fastest if you print, complete and bring the form with you. Please note that minors under of the age of 18 must have a parent/guardian signature on the form along with an adult present at the time of check-in.
Checking-in - Before you enter Kartrite's Kurse, you'll need to check-in with our attendant at CBK Lodge. After processing your ticket, one of our team members will direct you to the path that leads to the haunted house entrance and other mountain adventure activities.
Age, Height & Weight Restrictions - Kartrite's Kurse does not have any age, weight or height restrictions. However, it may not be appropriate for young children under the age of 6 or others who are easily frightened. If you opted to add a nighttime 1000' Dual Zip Line flight or a ride on the Appalachian Express Mountain Coaster, be advised that both of those attractions have age, height and weight restrictions.
Food & Beverages - Munchies and soft drinks will be available for purchase at the exit of Kartrite's Kurse on the Glen Lodge deck. This area will be enclosed by a lit and walled tent to protect you from the weather. All guests are welcome to spend some time inside the tent; we'll even have a few activities for young children inside. This can be an alternative to the haunted house for those who might find the experience too intimidating.
Weather - Even though the check-in area and Kartrite's Kurse are indoors, you'll need to walk outside for a short distance between the check-in area and the haunted house entrance. Make sure you wear proper clothing and footwear for the brief walk. If you intend to ride the zip line or mountain coaster, we suggest wearing sneakers or hiking boots and comfortable clothing.
